Lichfield Maize Maze

The theme of this year's maize maze is bees!

Come and explore the 10 acre maze created entirely from just under 1,000,000 maize plants!  With a total of 3.25 miles of paths creating this year’s “amaizing” beehive maze design, you are sure to have lots of fun navigating your way through the maze.  Armed with your maze map and a bee challenge sheet, enjoy spending some wholesome time in the fresh air with your friends and family.  For little legs, there is the lovely mini maze with 0.5 miles of paths which is incorporated into the main maize maze.

As you wander through the maze, there will be interesting facts to read about Britain’s wonderful bees, explaining just why they are so special.  Breathe in the fresh air, enjoy some escapism, and try not to get too lost!!!

Afterwards, enjoy relaxing in the picnic area whilst your little ones play in the digging patch or on the bale tower.  Light refreshments are available to buy or bring your own picnic.

To monitor visitor numbers on site and avoid crowds at the entrance, we sell tickets online.
