Coombe’s farm amazing maze maize is 6 areas of maize on the south downs by Passies Pond fishing lakes and the river Adur.

Come and get lost in our maze maize . This year’s theme is Farming & Wildlife. There is also the bale maze for the little ones and a chequers maize maze to have fun in.

Book online through our website or facebook page and check out when we are open. There may be some specials and extra dates including some evenings and October half term

The Lakeside café will be open serving food – hot and cold food and ice cream.
You can also enjoy your picnic there.

To find us come in off the A27 turn inland at the new roundabout by Lancing College signed Lancing College and Coombes and we are just over 3 miles, go past the farm and in the gateway on your right marked Passies Pond.

The maize is suitable for all ages – remember it can be wet and slippery in there if it’s been raining or if it’s hot and dry don’t forget your water.

What happens at the end of the year? – The maize is combined and fed to our animals, or it could be sold to other local farmers for animal feed or to a bio mass boiler for fuel.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult responsible for their behaviour. As we don’t want anyone lost in there. Also sorry no dogs.

Its our fourth year of having the maize maze. But the farm is well known for opening every year since 1979 at lambing times when we lamb our 800 ewes and calve our 80 Sussex cows.  But at this time of year, they are up on the downs and its only our maze that will be open along side our fishing lakes.
