The Corn Maze - Basildon

The ‘Corn Maze’ is back bigger and better than before and open again this Summer! A traditional maze featuring educational and interesting facts about corn as well as hosting a fun family fun game where you need to crack the code to escape from the maze!

We have two locations so nearly have the whole of Essex covered - one in South Essex and one in North Essex.

As well as being a fun game itself the corn maze will host a ‘Foxes Farm Field of Fun’ where there are several fun family games for you to find and enjoy! We will have lots of traditional games including football games, hula hoops, space hoppers, huge bale mountain, welly wangling and many more! This year we even have a pedal go cart maze for you to enjoy.

Once you have tired yourselves out in the field of fun why not head to the potato, sunflower, corn and green bean patches to pick your own to take home with you! It’s a great opportunity for children to understand how plants and food are grown- and bonus the sunflowers look beautiful and the vegetables taste yummy!

After all that exertion, we have plenty of picnic benches for you to relax on or a delicious ‘Food Shack’ serving light refreshments, drinks and teas and coffees.
We also have lots of photo opportunities for you to snap a selfie and will be running several competitions on social media over the season so be sure to check us out on facebook, instagram and twitter.

So why not come and visit us today … we can’t wait to see you!

We also open the maze for our torchlight maze on 25th August in Basildon and 26th August in Colchester- this is a great evening…. If you like getting lost in the dark!

During October we also run a very successful Pumpkin Patch for pick your own pumpkins and games! We are open every weekend from 29th September until 28th October and during half term week 22nd- 27th October.

Please note that during bad weather the ground may be unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs and it is advisable to phone before your visit in case we have to close due to wet weather.
