The Maize Maze at Cawthorne

Get Lost!!  Not what you usually say to visitors, but we hope you will at The Maize Maze at Cawthorne..

A warm family welcome awaits you at our dairy farm, set in beautiful countryside adjacent to Cannon Hall Country Park, just 5-10mins off the M1. You will be doing a puzzle in what will become the cows' Christmas Dinner, as it is harvested and fed to our 150 cows. Their milk is then used to make our Maizie Moo Real Dairy Ice - Cream. Each year we create a new unique design and puzzle which only lasts eight weeks, playschemes, Cubs, Scouts, Brownies and Guides return annually. We also make a great venue for Children's Parties.

We will give you a map with your quiz, (but we hope you won't use it) - this is an old fashioned playstation game really - it can be done on many levels.  Our team of fantastic Maze Masters watch over you from gallery bridges, helping  if required; so that you have time to enjoy all the other traditional games and puzzles.

We hope to create a village fete atmosphere for you, where you don't have to keep putting your hand your pocket! - only the a tractor and trailer ride with Farmer Jim to see the cows at the farm is extra at a £1.  Let the children play like we used to; Pedal Go Karts, Hoppers, Bales, Giant Jenga, to name but a few.  There is a real BBQ every day offering homemade burgers, hot and cold drinks and to finish your day off our own farm made Maizie Moo Ice-Cream.
