In April of 2008 'The Maize Maze Association' was formed. Due to a series of unfortunate events the former clients of a maze design company that had gone into liquidation just weeks before designs were due to be completed, decided to swiftly organise a conference to see how best they could support each other and rectify the problem. Among many conversations was the need to continue the good work done by the previous design company, the drive towards excellence in standards both in design work and at the maze sites themselves. In fact over the years many operators having developed excellent facilities had noticed by being part of an 'organisation', supporting each other, feeding off each others thoughts and encouraging each other to become better year on year. They had in fact already sewed the seed of an association.

The website maize-maze.com has been developed and will continue to develop through time as a way of best serving both the public and the maze operators themselves. Foremost a place where the public can easily locate a Maize Maze of good quality close to their location, either at home or on holiday. The public will know that the maze they are visiting is more than just a field with a ticket booth, it's a fully fledged attraction. A place where all the family can go and have fun, either relaxing in the 'puzzle courtyard' with an icecream, a cup of tea and taking part in one of the many activities available or delving deep into a puzzle of epic proportions, a giant maze made of corn that will challenge your sense of direction and baffle you beyond belief.

If you are maze operator and would like to be featured on the website please contact us via the contact us page.
